Harnesses
There are three basic designs of the Miller Revolution harness
There are four main categories of fall arrest harnesses, the Miller DuraFlex harness range.
- The Miller DuraFlex is a patented elasticated harness designed to give comfort to the user, available as a 1 point harness, 2 point harness, with work positioning belt fitted or as a jacket harness.
- The Miller Revolution range. There are three basic designs of the Miller Revolution harness which also incorporates the unique elasticated design though are also available made with DualTech webbing which is particularly suitable as a telecoms and utility harness.
- Technical fall arrest harnesses manufactured by Miller, Titan and Troll, who are all part of The Bacou-Dolloz Group who are the largest manufacturer of height safety equipment in the world.
There are available many specialist technical harnesses for example: Harness for tower access, construction harness, telecoms harness, utilities harness, scaffold harness, work positioning harness, climbing and ascent harness, evacuation and rescue harness, rope access harness, confined space harness, sit harness and chest harness etc. Should you require any assistance please contact our sales office for friendly advice.
Fall Arrest
Fall arrest kits. A height safety kits are available online as either as fall arrest kits, roofers kits, cherry picker kits and restraint kits.
Lanyards
Height safety lanyards are available in three product types
- The Fall arrest lanyards otherwise known as shock absorbing lanyards. A shock absorbing lanyard that is also available as a webbing lanyard, rope lanyard or the revolutionary Miller elasticated manyard.
- The Restraint lanyards, again manufactured as either a rope restraint lanyard or a webbing restraint lanyard. A restraint lanyard can be made to a fixed length or as an adjustable restraint lanyard. A restraint lanyard is designed to stop the user from reaching the falling edge and therefore must not be allowed to arrest a fall.
- Work positioning lanyards, allow the workers harness to be free as there is no longer any need to use one hand to remain in balance. A work positioning lanyard must be used in conjunction with a fall arrest device as it is essential that the work positioning lanyard does not arrest the fall.
Fall Arrest Inertia Reels otherwise known as fall arrest blocks and self-retracting lifelines will stop a worker falling in less than 500mm when used correctly.
When selecting your inertia reel please be aware of the possible pendulum effect. This will dictate the distance below the anchorage point and possible impact when returning to the anchorage point after the fall.
Fall Arrest Inertia Reels are available up to 40 metres payout and are supplied with either steel cable or as a webbing block. The Miller Falcon self-retracting lifeline is unique as this probably the only fall arrest self-retracting lifeline on the market that does not require compulsory annual factory recertification / service. The Miller Falcon housing is manufactured for high impact resistant nylon and is supplied with a lifetime housing guarantee. All internal components are manufactured from stainless steel and brass with an option for the steel cable also to be supplied in stainless steel.
A Fall arrest inertia reel is commonly used in conjunction with a man access tripod to gain access to confined spaces. Inertia reels with integral rescue winch are also used in this application. The personal fall arrest block is increasingly being used with greater frequency than the traditional lanyard as a because of the limited fall distance. On our site a personal inertia reel is available in different sizes, weights and lengths to suit all applications.
Karabiners and Connectors
Karabiner connectors are manufactured in steel or lightweight aluminium. Options for karabiners available are twistlock karabiners, screwgate karabiners, scaffold karabiners, scaffold hooks, captive eye karabiners etc.
Anchorage Devices
Anchorage devices come in many forms though they will fall into two main categories, portable fall arrest anchorage connectors (temporary fall arrest anchorage points) and permanent fall arrest anchorage points / systems (fixed anchorage points or installed fall arrest systems).
Fall Arrest Eyebolts
Fall arrest Eyebolts are available in many forms as a removable fall arrest anchorage point or as a permanently installed fall arrest eye / restraint eye. Removable fall arrest eyebolts can be supplied with permanently installed sockets so that one anchorage device can be used in many locations.

Confined space fall arrest equipment and confined space manriding equipment for example davit arms, lightweight aluminium tripods and quad pods used in conjunction with fall arrest blocks inertia reels with rescue winch and manriding winches.
